What is a Bucket vs. a Path?
A Bucket is a goal you want to reach — like 'Run a half-marathon' or 'Learn Spanish'. A Path is the strategy you choose to get there. One Bucket can have several Paths working together. Pick the Path type that best matches the shape of your progress.
Which Path type should I pick?
Use Habit for daily/weekly recurring actions. Skill Up for level-by-level mastery. Experience for one-off moments and photos. Financial for money goals. Metric for accumulating a total (km, books, words). Checklist for sub-tasks you tick off. Deadline for a fixed date with milestones along the way.
Can I edit or delete a Path after I create it?
Yes. Open the Path detail page, tap the ⋯ menu, and choose Edit or Delete. Note that Deadline paths only allow editing the name and description after creation — the timeline and reminder are immutable.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, tap 'Forgot password' and we'll email you a one-time code. Enter the code in the app and choose a new password.
How do I delete my account?
Open the Profile tab → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your buckets, paths, photos, and account data from our systems. Backups roll off on a fixed schedule (see our Privacy Policy).
Where are my photos stored?
Avatar and Experience-path photos are stored on Cloudflare R2 and served via secure URLs tied to your account. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Is DreamPaths free?
DreamPaths is free to download and includes a Free tier with up to 2 Buckets, 3 of 7 Path Types, and basic progress tracking — enough to test the framework on real goals. PRO ($4.99/mo or $29.99/yr — that's 50% off the monthly rate) unlocks unlimited Buckets, all 7 Path Types, and advanced statistics.
What's the difference between Free and PRO?
Free: 2 Buckets, 3 of 7 Path Types, basic tracking. PRO: unlimited Buckets, all 7 Path Types (Habit, Skill Up, Experience, Financial, Metric, Checklist, Deadline), advanced statistics. You can start free and upgrade anytime — your existing buckets and paths are preserved.
How do I cancel my PRO subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). On iOS, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → DreamPaths → Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DreamPaths. Your PRO features stay active until the end of the current billing period, then your account reverts to Free.
What happens to my data when my PRO subscription ends?
Nothing is deleted — your buckets, paths, milestones, and photos are all preserved. You revert to the Free tier, which means your earliest 2 buckets stay fully editable, and any additional buckets become read-only inside the app (their data is kept intact). Resubscribing to PRO restores full access instantly.
Can I restore my subscription on a new device?
Yes. Sign in to DreamPaths on the new device with the same account, then open the pricing screen and tap 'Restore Purchases'. Your active subscription on the same Apple ID (or Google account) will be rebound to your DreamPaths account. A given Apple ID can only be bound to one DreamPaths account at a time.
How do I switch between Monthly and Yearly?
Open the pricing screen in the app, choose the other billing period, and tap Upgrade. The platform store handles the switch — it takes effect at the end of your current billing period (so you keep the plan you've paid for until it expires). Apple shows the scheduled change as 'Switches on [date]' in iOS Settings → Subscriptions.
Will deleting my account cancel my subscription?
No. Cancelling your subscription and deleting your DreamPaths account are two separate actions. If you only delete your account, your platform-store subscription on the same Apple ID / Google account will keep renewing until you cancel it in your device's Subscriptions settings.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the platform store, not by us. For Apple, submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, go to Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history. When the platform store approves a refund, we automatically revoke your PRO entitlement.
Which devices are supported?
iOS is available now. Android is in active development — Auth and core scaffolding are in place; full Path features will roll out in subsequent releases.
